One of these days...
I'll have it in me to make this a regular habit. Got to get it into my head that my mom is not reading my diary while I am at Girl Scouts!

It's raining, there's thunder and lightning. I have a cat on my desk purring next to me, my little China-Doll. It is as if my sweet, late Odessa-Doll sent a little friend to remind us of her even in their differences: pure white instead of pure black, outgoing instead of shy, tail flipped over her back instead of Odessa's tightly curled tail. China was willed to me by my friend Marilyn, rest in peace, and came with her name. The Lord knew we needed a Doll. Thanks God. You're pretty cool, no matter what people say about you!

Rest in peace, Baby Doll
Odessa Tatyana Dolly Kaur, 2003 - 2007
Know, darling kitty, that you left us being loved, and left us with your love, and no finer gift could any being make. Daddy and I will always love you, my Dolly, my Black Russian Princess.
